These beautiful chocolate Easter nests are incredibly easy to whip up. The recipe is just so simple. If you haven’t organised dessert for Easter Sunday, here is your last-minute cheat. They take about ten minutes to prepare and there is absolutely no baking required. Plus, these pastel coloured nests could not be prettier and make for lovely, homely Easter gifts. These effortless goodies look gorgeous piled up on an Easter table spread. The only difficulty is stopping yourself eating them all before your guests arrive.

Makes 24

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 0 minutes

Difficulty level: Easy

150 grams good quality milk chocolate

3 tablespoons of peanut butter

2x bags of Chang’s Original Fried Noodles (or equivalent)

1 packet of Cadbury’s Mini Eggs

Large bowl

Wooden spoon

Patty cake cases

Baking tray

Melt the chocolate in a bowl. Add the peanut butter to the chocolate and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Gradually scatter the fried noodles into the bowl and stir gently, being careful not to crush the noodles.

Line up the patty cake cases on a flat baking tray. Once the noodles are evenly coated with the chocolate, spoon the mixture into the patty cake cases. Use a teaspoon to create a shallow well in the centre of the nest. To decorate, place a few mini eggs into the middle of the nest and press them gently into the melted chocolate. Pop the tray into the fridge and allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Keep refrigerated until served.
